About
As a Production Designer and Art Director, Márgara has collaborated on global campaigns with directors such as Kim Gehrig, Daniel Wolfe, Mark Molloy, Torben Kjelstrup, and Ians Pons Jewell among others. Her work is characterized by a balance between large-scale production demands and a a refined visual sensibility.
Her path in cinema began with the legendary mexican film director Felipe Cazals, marking the start of a career that would later lead her working as a Set Decorator Assistant in Martin Campbell’s The Mask of Zorro on that production, she found that her academic background in history from UNAM was a vital asset in mastering the intricate period details that projects of such scale demand.
His experience in the narrative field includes feature films as well as work on television series. Márgara’s passion for aesthetics also extends to museography, where she researched and designed Diego el Grande, an interactive exhibition dedicated to the renowned muralist Diego Rivera.
Across all disciplines, Márgara operates under the philosophy famously shared by G. Flaubert and Mies van der Rohe: "The devil is in the details."
